Miao Xu is an Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Beijing office. She joined the firm in 2016 and her practice focuses on commercial litigation, arbitration, and internal investigations. Miao has experience advising large multinational corporate clients on complex and often highly sensitive cross-border disputes and developing global strategies that involve multiple parties and jurisdictions. Miao also has experience conducting internal investigations in connection with anti-corruption law violations, breaches of business ethics, and various other compliance and internal control issues.
In 2019-2020, Miao served as an investigator at the World Bank Integrity Vice Presidency (INT) in Washington D.C., where she worked on anti-corruption investigations in World Bank financed projects with a focus on the East Asia-Pacific region.
Miao is a native Mandarin speaker, received legal education in both China and the United States, and is admitted to the New York bar and has passed the PRC bar exam (does not hold an active license).
