Quinn Emanuel Partner Silpa Maruri named co-litigator of the week by The American Lawyer

Quinn Emanuel is proud to announce that partner Silpa Maruri has been named co-litigator of the week by The American Lawyer, alongside Ned Weinberger of Labaton Sucharow and Chad Johnson of Robbins Geller, following their historic settlement earlier this week on behalf of shareholders in Dell Technologies. The team, alongside QE’s David Cooper, secured a $1 billion cash settlement just three weeks before the scheduled trial in Delaware’s Court of Chancery. The settlement, which comes two-and-a-half years after Vice Chancellor Travis Laster turned back a defense bid to knock out the suit, still requires sign-off from the court, and if approved, it would be historic for shareholder settlements in the Court of Chancery.
