Jordan Alexander is a senior associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Los Angeles office. Jordan’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Jordan has represented clients in high-stakes matters in state and federal courts throughout the country regarding a diverse range of claims, including intellectual property disputes such as copyright, trade secrets, and false advertising, financial fraud, False Claims Act, bankruptcy, securities, class actions, defamation, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, employment, sexual assault, and wrongful death.
Jordan has tried multiple cases, including examining witnesses, arguing motions and evidentiary issues, and playing a key role in every aspect of the trial presentation.
Jordan also has experience at every stage of litigation, from pleadings through post-trial briefing and appeal. Over the past decade, Jordan has argued numerous motions, including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and motions in limine, and has taken and defended depositions all over the country. In 2026 alone, she has secured dismissal of claims against multiple clients in multiple jurisdictions, including:
- Complete dismissal of all claims against individual defendants and dismissal of defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and dismissal of harassment claims against the corporate defendant in an employment suit in Los Angeles Superior Court in which Quinn Emanuel represents the defendants; and
- Dismissal of tortious interference and Unfair Competition Law counterclaims in a patent and false advertising suit in the United States District Court for the Central District of California in which Quinn Emanuel represents the plaintiff.
Jordan also has substantial experience working with experts across various industries, particularly damages experts and psychological/psychiatric experts.
Before moving to Los Angeles in 2015, Jordan worked in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. She is a member of the bars of both New York and California, as well as the bars of several federal courts.
