Rafe Andrews is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. He joined the firm in 2018. Rafe is an experienced litigator, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of complex commercial disputes from pre-complaint disputes through trial. In 2025, Rafe was part of The American Lawyer’s "Litigators of the Week" winning team that secured a $63 million verdict in a business fraud case after a five-week trial in which Monmouth County jurors found defendants had defrauded clients into surrendering control of their company.
Prior to joining the firm, Rafe worked as a litigator in Sydney, Australia at another global law firm, including advising on a successful appeal in the High Court of Australia on a novel issue of private international law, and representing defendants in Australia's first major corporate prosecution under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws. Rafe also worked as a community lawyer at the Kingsford Legal Centre, Sydney, where he gave pro bono advice to clients on civil and criminal matters.
