Kevin Barbosa is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office, where he has practiced since 2024. His work focuses on complex commercial and financial litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and government and internal investigations, with particular expertise in cross-border disputes, judgment enforcement, and discovery under 28 U.S.C. § 1782. He has also represented fashion models in a major wage-and-hour class action. Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in French and Spanish, Kevin routinely leverages his language skills to assist clients in complex international matters.
Kevin maintains an active pro bono practice representing indigent New Yorkers in civil and criminal cases, and in 2025 he received The Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award for outstanding service to the organization and its clients.
Kevin earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School with honors. Before law school, he worked as an analyst in the Litigation & Regulatory Proceedings and Financial Crime Compliance departments of a leading investment bank.
