Jacob C. Beach is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Austin office. He joined the firm in 2026. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Jacob served as an Assistant Solicitor General for the State of Texas. While there, Jacob litigated complex constitutional and administrative appeals on behalf of Texas, including matters before the United States Supreme Court and Texas Supreme Court, as well as intermediate federal and state appellate courts. He also secured a permanent injunction in federal district court blocking agency action that threatened an estimated $20 billion in economic harm. Prior to his time with Texas, he was a litigation associate at a national law firm, where he worked on securities and white-collar matters. He previously completed clerkships at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
