William R. Clark is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s San Francisco office. He joined the firm in 2025. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation.
William earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he was elected Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. While in law school, he placed first in the National Civil Trial Competition, where he also won the Best Advocate Awards for both the preliminary and final rounds. Upon graduation, William was honored with the Jamison Prize, awarded annually to the Berkeley Law graduate with the best combined record of academic and advocacy excellence.
Prior to law school, William lived and studied in China. He graduated with a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.
