Simon Collier is a Senior Associate in the Sydney office. He joined the firm in 2022. Simon specialises in complex commercial litigation with particular experience in insurance, competition law, corporate insolvency and regulatory investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Simon worked in Hong Kong at an international disputes and investigations practice focused on high value claims arising from corporate collapses and professional negligence.
Simon commenced his career in New Zealand and was a senior solicitor in New Zealand’s leading litigation practice as well as a key member of its insurance and competition sub-teams . He also regularly appeared at all levels of the New Zealand courts including as junior counsel in complex civil trials.
Simon is qualified in Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland where he graduated as the Senior Scholar of Law and was awarded various subject prizes including the Brookers’ Prize in Torts and Contract.
