Erin Gatenby is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office, having joined the firm in 2025. Erin’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining the firm, Erin practiced commercial litigation at one of New Zealand’s leading full-service law firms. While there, Erin acted for a wide range of clients, including large public and private companies. Erin has experience acting in a wide range of matters including contractual, tortious and trust disputes, class action proceedings, regulatory investigations, and equitable claims. Erin has appeared as a junior or sole counsel in both the High Court and District Court of New Zealand.
Erin was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago.
