Marta represents life-sciences innovators in high-stakes patent disputes, with an emphasis on Hatch-Waxman litigation. As part of her practice, she guides clients through regulatory considerations, and counsels clients on pre-suit diligence and patent strategies. Her matters arise in a range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, dermatology, nephrology, cardiology, and rheumatology.
Marta is licensed to practice in California, New York, and Connecticut, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has represented clients in courts across the United States, and collaborates with ex-US counsel on global IP strategies.
Before graduating law school, Marta served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael H. Watson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and as an intern to the Polish Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw, Poland.
