Marta A. Godecki

Marta is a life-sciences litigator and strategist.  She represents innovators in high-stakes matters, with an emphasis on Hatch-Waxman litigation.  As part of her litigation practice, she guides clients through regulatory considerations and counsels clients on pre-litigation diligence and patent strategies.  A trusted advisor to clients with products in development, Marta offers IP perspectives to help companies develop their pipelines and prepare for launch and patent enforcement.  Her matters arise in a range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, dermatology, nephrology, cardiology, infectious diseases, and rheumatology.

Marta is licensed to practice in California, New York, and Connecticut, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  She has represented clients in courts across the United States, and collaborates with ex-US counsel on global IP strategies.

Marta served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael H. Watson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and as an intern to the Polish Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw, Poland.
