Amy-Lee Goodman Carmelli is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Boston office.  She joined the firm in 2025.  Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters.  Amy-Lee maintains an active pro bono practice, including representation of clients seeking asylum and abuse prevention cases for clients in domestic violence crisis situations, for which she received the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Foundation’s Nery J. Arrano Award in 2021.  

Prior to joining the firm, Amy-Lee served as a law clerk for the Honorable Denise J. Casper in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  Amy-Lee also previously worked as an associate at another international law firm for several years where she represented financial services, technology, pharmaceutical and other companies in a wide range of complex civil litigation and government and regulatory matters, including in state and federal appellate courts. 

Amy-Lee graduated summa cum laude from Boston College Law School, where she served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Boston College Law Review.  During law school, Amy-Lee served as a Rappaport Fellow in the Governor’s Office of Legal Counsel for former Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
