Nick is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Singapore office. Nick specialises in international arbitration, though he also has experience in complex litigation. He has acted as counsel in both investment treaty and international commercial arbitration under the auspices of a broad range of arbitral institutions including the SIAC, HKIAC, ICSID, ICC and LCIA as well as in ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Rules. Nick currently serves on Young ICCA’s leadership team as Events Co-Director, and was previously appointed a Young ICCA Regional Representative for 2024-2026.
Nick’s recent experience includes acting for clients based in jurisdictions such as Singapore, China, Korea, Japan, India, Australia, the UAE and the UK and across various industry sectors including private equity and financial services, energy and natural resources, and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Nick practised in the Singapore and London offices of a number of elite global law firms, also spending time in Paris and Dubai. During this time, Nick also acted for clients in complex commercial litigation matters across a variety of fora including the English High Court, Competition Appeals Tribunal and Singapore High Court.
Nick is a graduate of the University of Oxford, qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, and a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore. He also speaks Mandarin Chinese.
