Robert Longtin is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. Robert is a litigator whose practice involves representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of complex commercial disputes. His experience includes representing and advising clients on bet-the-company matters including breach of contract, data breach and privacy, trade secret, business torts, fraud, securities, mergers and acquisitions, white collar, real estate, insurance, both plaintiff- and defendant-side class actions, and arbitration. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers (2020–2025).
Robert joined the firm in 2017 after graduating Columbia University Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During law school, Robert served as a research assistant for Professors George A. Bermann and Alexandra Carter. He also participated as both a coach and competitor in the world’s largest mooting competition, the Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, receiving an honorable mention for best individual speaker.
