Jonathan Meilaender is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Washington office. He joined the firm in 2025. While in law school and prior to joining the firm, he worked for the Becket Fund, his law school’s Religious Freedom Clinic, and Clement & Murphy. In those roles he assisted in drafting briefs filed at all levels of the federal system, including a Supreme Court amicus brief. He also researched and wrote memoranda on issues of constitutional law, international law, and civil procedure. His scholarship on statutory interpretation and legal philosophy has been featured in Harvard’s Journal of Law and Public Policy.
