Dr. Jesko Preuß

Dr. Jesko Preuß manages Quinn Emanuel’s Stuttgart office. He is a versatile litigator and strategist with more than 15 years of experience in commercial, corporate, and IP disputes. He specializes in leading complex national and cross-border litigation involving high-stakes risks, and represents national and international clients across a variety of industries, including financial products and private equity, mechanical engineering, automotive, IT, chemistry, biotech, and life sciences. Jesko combines a unique sense of strategic thinking with an unconditional determination to develop a deep understanding of the facts at stake. Technically complex products and patents form a specific focus of his work.

Jesko has represented clients before the German courts at trial and appellate level, in infringement and revocation proceedings before the UPC, in opposition proceedings at the EPO and in nullity actions before the German Patent Court and the Federal Supreme Court.

He obtained a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in law from Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg (Chair for Business Law / Intellectual Property Law) and an LL.M. in European Law from Paris II (Université Panthéon-Assas).

Jesko is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltsverein) and the German Arbitration Institute (DIS).
