Akshay Shreedhar is a Senior Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. His practice focuses on international arbitration.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel in London, Akshay spent several years at the firm’s Paris office where he advised and represented clients in complex, high-value and high-profile investor-State disputes, as well as numerous commercial cross-border disputes governed by diverse applicable laws. Akshay has conducted arbitrations seated in major hubs including London, Paris, New York, Helsinki, and Singapore, under key institutional rules such as the UNCITRAL, ICSID, ICC, LCIA, ICDR and DIS rules. Akshay regularly advises and represents clients in several sectors, including foreign investment, construction, energy and hospitality industries.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Akshay trained at boutique international arbitration law firms in Brussels and Geneva, where he assisted highly renowned arbitrators in major commercial and investor-state disputes.
Akshay also has litigation/arbitration experience in India, having worked as an associate in the chambers of a Senior Counsel, where he represented clients in construction disputes before domestic courts and tribunals. Akshay holds an LL.B (hons.) from National Law University, Delhi, and an LL.M from the MIDS programme in Geneva.
