Nicholas Shying is an Associate at Quinn Emanuel’s Sydney office. He joined the firm in 2024 and practises complex commercial litigation.
Nick was previously an Associate in litigation and arbitration at a respected Melbourne law firm, having been admitted to practise in 2020.
In 2019, Nick was Aide to the Hon. Linda Dessau AC CVO, Governor of Victoria. Before law school, Nick completed officer training at the Royal Australian Naval College and served onboard HMAS Parramatta.
Nick holds Bachelor’s degrees in Laws (with Honours) and Arts from Monash University, and a Grad. Dip. Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
