The firm and its partners were honored at ALM Media’s Transatlantic Legal awards. The awards, which were judged by a panel of senior editors and reporters from The American Lawyer and Legal Week, recognized firms, lawyers and in-house legal departments for their work spanning the world's two largest and most fiercely competitive markets. Managing partner John Quinn was honored as “Transatlantic Law Firm Manager of the Year,” and the firm also won the “Transatlantic Investigations Team of the Year” award. Quinn Emanuel represents FIFA in connection with U.S. and Swiss criminal investigations against current and former football officials into allegations of bribery and corruption in the international soccer world. We are advising FIFA, which is considered a victim of the alleged wrongdoings, on the investigations as well as conducting an internal investigation on behalf of the organization. The alleged bribes are in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
