Quinn Emanuel Partners Named 'Legal Lions of the Week' by Law360 for Victory on Behalf of Ocean Point Terminals

Quinn Emanuel Partner Christopher D. Porter and Associate Dominic Pody have been named ‘Legal Lions of the Week’ by Law360 following their success in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of Ocean Point Terminals.

Last Monday, U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein confirmed an arbitration award that ordered Unipec America Inc, a subsidiary of Chinese oil major Sinopec, to pay $20.7 million in unpaid storage fees to our client Ocean Point Terminals. The confirmed award also preserved a nine-figure contract against Unipec’s attempt to terminate.
